Some of you knew us as the Communications Team. Some of you knew us as the Communication Resource Center. But we hope all of you will come to know us as the Communication & Social Marketing Center, your SAMHSA Partner for Mental Health Promotion. Our new name reflects our expanded role for SAMHSA’s Center for Mental Health Services. In addition to the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative, we now provide communication and social marketing materials, training, and technical assistance to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, the Garrett Lee Smith suicide prevention grants, the National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative and the Native Aspirations program.  Watch this Web site for more information in the coming months.
